Haven’t had the time to blog.
Merry Christmas! It’s been yet another year.
I have begun to notice that once I get off work, my mind starts to run on auto-pilot. So much so that I can completely miss appointments or make triple bookings for myself unintentionally. Hence my dear friends if I happen to do that please forgive me. I wonder if it’s true. When uber-mega events happen to you, a part of you dies away.
Recently one of my closer colleague has gone mad and incredibly ridiculous to work with. I can’t decide which is worse – if she’s so cute that everyone tends to have a skewed mindset whereby I am the bully or that our work overlaps so much she’s the one person I have to call my work buddy. Work wise, I have no qualms about communicating with her but I do have a huge issue about her not answering the questions I raise! I mean goddamn it, be professional!
I have gotten used to not talking much at work since the buddy has her back turned on me and occasionally, though not too often as I don’t want to be looked upon as childish or petty, I’ll lunch-in to avoid situations where we have to stand beside each other on the way to lunch.
Work is tough enough as it is, why make another person’s life more difficult? Especially someone who helped you along the way?
Any old how, I loved some of the presents I got from lovely peeps who have bothered to pick out things for me. I have always thought I had weird taste in things.
Can’t wait to see han again. Somehow, she’s the only memory I have of Ann Siang and is one of the few I cannot bear to let go.
