A recent episode with a friend has set me thinking about how I seem to have neglected people I call my friends. So my new year’s resolution is to try, as much as possible, to add more sparkles to the people around me. And yes, this means too, that I will try to remember your birthday.
Christmas gifts this year is nothing short of spectacular (to think I haven’t even FINISH meeting all my friends yet excites me even more!) Everyone seems to understand what PINK does to me so my table at the slave house is cluttered with pink fluffs and pinks toys! I also got myself another year’s supply of toiletries and moisturizers.











Christmas marks another year. I wonder where 09 will lead me to.

I Love holidays! (who doesn’t?)

Amidst the riots raging in Thailand, I went to peaceful Phuket and Phi Phi Island for the ultimate getaway. Its a pity things are quite unstable in Thailand. Phi Phi island is 2 hours ferry ride from Phuket Town (which is an hour from airport) which means a super duper long travelling time. But heck, it was well worth it!

This is the almighty bag which can contain half the world in it. Somehow i can squeeze and squeeze and than, SQUEEZE again!



With a little more than 3 hours before nightfalls and very empty stomachs (Tiger airways means you dont get in flight food unless you are willing to pay. obviously... i didn) we devoured the Thai version of rosti and Pat Tai. Super yumalicious although we had to combat with twenty flies while eating our brunch+dinner.

I think i bought more things on my first day than on any other. I was delighted to find fun quirky shops (think haji lane but affordable) on this island. I can imagine annie going completely wild. But vintage means 'used' so some of the stocks do look like they are badly beaten up

I stayed in the cheapest hotel in Phi Phi - PP Casita which is an awesome hotel with fantastic american breakfast. Fried rice, kway tiao, eggs in any type of serving you fancy, cereal, sausages, ham, BACON!, bread, yogurt in every flavor and I can't remember the rest.

We snorkeled for the whole afternoon but the next time i try to venture into the deep blue... I should keep in mind i dont know how to bloody swim. Life vest, in this case, is a neccessity!





We had tum yum soup at practically every meal and what suprised me most is that most people ate American food even though they are in THAILAND. I mean just how often do you come across cheap and good thai food back at home?

Deep dark tanning comes with an SPF 50 sun screen and hawaiiiii tanning lotion. Phuket seem to have more sun than Phi Phi island.




Did I mentioned I love the fact that I don't have to go to work too?
